29 March: Pre-concert talk by Fr Brian O’Mahony on Miserere, the inspiration behind Allegri’s most beautiful setting of Psalm 50. The talk will take place in Clergy House Library at 6.30pm. Refreshments will be served. The concert in the Cathedral starts at 7.30pm. Guests will be escorted through to the Cathedral at 7.15pm. Please be at Clergy House Reception for 6.15pm. Tickets £10.

Westminster Cathedral Choir and Orchestra will be having a Lenten Concert on Wednesday, 29 March at 7.30pm. The concert will include the ever-popular Miserere by Allegri, Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis by Vaughan Williams and the powerful meditation on the Seven Last Words from the Cross by James MacMillan. 9 May: Launch of the George Malcolm Exhibition marking the anniversaries of the birth and death of this celebrated musician and former Master of Music. A private view of the exhibition in the Cathedral at 6.30pm will be followed by a talk from curator Giles Dawson and Colin Mawby, former Master of Music, in Clergy House. Drinks reception to follow. Tickets £25.
