Mass times for seven days from Saturday, 8th September 2018
Although we make every effort to keep this information up to date, Mass times are subject to change.
Westminster Cathedral Opening Times
The Cathedral opens just before the 7am Mass on Monday to Fridays, closing at 7pm. On Saturdays and Sundays the Cathedral opens at 7:30am in time for the 8am Mass. Over the weekend, the Cathedral closes at 8pm. Times are subject to change on occasions such as public holidays. Any such change will be published on the Cathedral website with due notice.
Concelebrants: You would be very welcome to concelebrate at any public Mass at Westminster Cathedral. Please arrive at the Sacristy at least 10 minutes before the Mass is due to begin. Please be aware that you will be asked to show your celebret or letter of recommendation to the Sacristan on entering the Sacristy and this will be needed if you wish to concelebrate at Mass.
Angelus: This short traditional prayer reminds us of God's presence in our world through the Annunciation when Mary was told she was to be the mother of Jesus. It is a moment for us to take a pause in our day and remember God's continued presence among us. It is led by members of the Cathedral staff each weekday at 12pm.
