The Sacristy is vital for the worship of any Church – it is here where vestments and vessels are kept and maintained, ready for use in the liturgy. But although the sacristy is of central importance – how many of you have ever been in? Even if you’ve seen inside sacristy – have you seen some of the treasures in the chests and drawers scattered around? Join Head Sacristan Richard Hawker to head behind the scenes to an area of the Cathedral which is usually off-limits to the public. Tickets are £10 and limited – with advance booking essential.
