The Oblates have resumed their monthly meetings after the Covid pandemic.
This group was founded some years ago by the late Bishop Patrick O’Donoghue, a former Administrator of Westminster Cathedral, to be prayer power supporting the Cathedral and its mission by liturgical and intercessory prayer. Meetings are normally held every fourth Sunday in the month in the Hinsley Room, Morpeth Terrace, at 2.30 pm for a spiritual address and intercessions. Oblates are then encouraged to attend Solemn Vespers and Benediction in the Cathedral at 4pm. There are also Associate Oblates located across the world who maintain their prayer support.
