On Tuesday 19 May, the Friends of Westminster Cathedral will host a fascinating and lighthearted evening with two of Britain’s most distinguished public servants; The Rt Hon the Lord Butler of Brockwell KG GCB CVO and The Rt Hon the Baroness Shephard of Northwold.
Following two sell out shows in Sheringham, Yes Minister will go to the Edinburgh Festival.
Lord Butler KG was former Cabinet Secretary, Head of the Civil Service, and Private Secretary to five Prime Ministers.
Baroness Shephard, held four posts in John Major’s Cabinet including Secretary of State for Education, and is the author of The Real Iron Lady, in a candid reflection on decades at the heart of British politics.
Between them, they offer a rare and intimate glimpse behind the doors of Westminster and Whitehall.
