To celebrate the solemnity of Corpus Christi, the Choir of Westminster Cathedral have launched a new video on YouTube, performing Francis Stanfield’s beloved hymn Sweet Sacrament Divine, arranged by Peter Stevens, the Assistant Master of Music.
Fr Francis Stanfield (1835-1914) was a priest of the Diocese of Westminster, educated at St Edmund’s, Ware, and Parish Priest of Corpus Christi, Maiden Lane, the Diocesan Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament.
