With thanks to the generosity of the Sir Harold Hood Foundation and the American Friends of Westminster Cathedral, the cleaning and restoration work in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, and the Shrine of the Sacred Heart and St Michael, is now complete.
Having sojourned in the Lady Chapel for the last few months, it is wonderful to have the Blessed Sacrament back where he belongs, and to have the regular exposition timetable restored.
The chapels remained empty over the weekend to provide a rare opportunity for a closer look at the mosaics and details, without disturbing those at prayer.
